I didn't know what to expect when I first started reading this series. It is about a girl who woke up from a coma with psychic abilities. In book one she meets a detective who she is greatly attracted to but he has a girlfriend and wants her to help him find her sister. At first she vehemently screams know as her heart doesn't want to go through a media circus as she did the first and only time that her abilities led to finding a little boy. She was treated as a freak.In the next book she meets another psychic who has a thing for her. He tried to break her up with Jared, the detective who left his girlfriend and had fallen deeply in love. I don't want to give away the whole story so will say she gets stabbed and her mom gets kidnapped and put in the trunk of the man who did it. Her and the other psychic Declan become friends and business partners. Her dad becomes a suspect and together Jared and Kate defy fate to bring this eternal love story together. You may shed a few tears, laugh and feel like you want the kind of love they have.
I recommend that if you only read 3 books a year get this series.
It is 5:30 in the morning because I had to finish the last book. I read all 4 in four days4

I chose this book series because it looked interesting and because it was priced right. As I delved into the story I found it difficult to put the book down! Actually, I turned off my tablet. I liked the characters, the mystery, relationships and found the psychic element fascinating! I would have given it 5 stars except there seemed to be several editing issues.
These caught me right from the beginning and having the entire series at once makes it nice too. You don't have to wait to see what comes next. Can't go wrong with this purchase.
Love this series. Awesome plot lines, perfect twists, and our heroin is a perfect nut job! Heather Topham Wood, so skillfully crafter her, and you can't stop yourself from yelling at her "Get out of your own way dummy!" You know you have a good book when you find yourself trying to actively interact with the characters your reading about. Kudos!
I think I have found a new author I like this set of books is the best I've read in a while I enjoyed the whole series and recommend this series to anyone that like clean mystery and intrigue I will be looking for more of her books.
This is one if the best series of books I've ever read. Buy the 4 book collection. It makes it easier to group them together.

From beginning to end it was exciting. Love love love this series! Heather Tophan Wood is one of my favorite writers now and she will be one of yours too!!!
This author had a successful career in freelance writing? I'm guessing that she was a technical writer bc there is a huge difference in creative writing and technical writing. This book was not a bad premise but the execution was horrendous. There was no explanation of how she came to her abilities other than a mention of a coma. The mother is an enabler and the father is an autocrat but even those characters were'nt consistent in their roles. Her psychic visions were few and far between so that created a huge void in the telling and frankly the h outlook on life was just a poor me kind of scenario without any of the background to justify it. I would have guessed this was the author's first attempt at writing anything and I'm shocked that it received anything higher than a 3 star. Sorry but I would suggest a course in creative writing if you plan to continue bc I felt like I was reading a technical manual or a badly written legal brief, even those have more life to them than this story did.
I am not sure how to phrase this...parts of the books I really liked and other parts I did not. I liked this genre of the book as I am drawn to metaphysical stories. I loved the visions she had and her pursuit of finding the missing persons. I am not a Harlequin romance novel fan so I did not like those paragraphs of the books that went on and on about what I considered silly. That is my personality so I am sure those paragraphs will appeal to someone else. I DID finish the series, so it shows I waded through what I thought was trivial to get to the "meat" of the story. Book needs to be proofed again to clean up typos.
